3 Days and Counting...

So Monday morning, bright and early, I report to the training facility at Edward Jones!! It's funny, I have been so worried like this isn't the right position, that I wouldn't be "corporate" enough. I think I'm just afraid of moving on from what I'm used to. A new industry, a new type of job - something completely new, oh and the fact that I have to be dressed business professional every day. I know I'll be a rock star, and I'll be great - it's just that getting there, and starting - it's like the first day of school all over again. Meet new people, getting new friends, who am I going to sit with at lunch - things like that. Trivial yes, but it all goes back to the elementary basics.

So in the past week, I have managed to get 4 new jackets to wear to work everyday, a few pairs of dress pants, a pair of "work appropriate shoes" and I think I'm set. I think this weekend I'm just going to enjoy my last few days of freedom and get on with it. I'm ready to get back to work - it's time.

So say a prayer at 7:30 on Monday morning that my everything is awesome and great and perfecto!!

Florida...

I'm in Florida this week chillin' out with mi papa. So far - I've gotten a killer tan, caught up on movies, and now I'm going outlet mall shopping today. Whoo hoo!

I'm just waiting for the offical call this week to confirm me suiting up for Monday AM. Whoo hoo! Keep your fingers crossed nothing goes wrong. 3 weeks not working is driving me bananas at this point.

Off to get my shop on.
