I Totally Cried This Morning.

So, I don't get many emails from my grandma, Judy. She's my Step Grandma, but she's super cool..and she's not really that old to be a Grandma. Anyway, she doesn't send many emails out, and I looked at this one this morning. Sitting in my big fluffy bathrobe and a towel on my head and a fresh layer of Kiehl's moisturizer, I totally cried. It was so inspiring and uplifting, it was a good start to the day.

I'm a sap, shoot, I still cry when I watch the Little Mermaid.

Jeffy Sue's Birthday!

So yesterday, was my hunny bunny's 29th birthday. He's so old...but don't tell him I said that. We had a great time too. Ever since we started dating, we wanted to go to Annie Gunn's, but always came up with a better place to go. Typically, when we have an annivesary or something special to celebrate, I always want to go to the Melting Pot. I think it's fun and it takes a really long time, so you feel like the $100+ you spend is worth it.

Well, knowing that he wanted to go, I called on Tuesday to make reservations. I was kindly informed that the only available times were 4 and 9. Ouch. So I took the later time hoping that we would have a lazy day and we would eat lunch super late. I let Jeff sleep in till about 11 and then we got ready to go to my Mom's house for the open house that showed all the green features. It was cool - the house is gorgeous, but it's not really my floor plan. I know my mom will love it. We hung out there till about 2:30, and then we went to Jeremy and Wendy's apartment to get his birthday gift. Wendy made Jeff bean bags for his toss game he's making - he was super stoked, and we caught the tail end of Shrek 3 - which I haven't seen, I was so grouchy about that.

The other hightlight besides steak, was the Playstation 3 that Jeff just had to have. So on the way home we went to Best Buy and dropped a small fortune on this contraption. I guess it is cool because it has a Blu-Ray in it. So, we've now decided to join that Blockbuster program where you get unlimited for the month.

Anyway, back to the steak. We got there at 9, and they told us it would be an hour wait. I kindly informed them that I had made reservations, and she walked us to our table. If we didn't have reservations, it would have been a 1 1/2 hour wait - at 9pm! Overall, it was fantastic, great dinner, sparkling conversation...haha, no not really, my husband is an engineer. We talked about machines and how they worked and when we do have kids are we going to pay for college/weddings that kind of stuff.

On the way home we picked up out first Blu-Ray movie, Untraceable, an internet thriller movie. It was pretty good - a little gruesome, but good.

So that was about it! Today we are going to kick back and relax. I'm going to catch up on some Suze Orman show (Love her!) and then go to World Market to get a new patio Umbrella for our 4th of July party.

Have a happy Sunday!
