So this week, my most fabulous bag came. Love it!! But, I got to thinking, with economy, I'm not sure where things are going. I sat down and watched Oprah the other day and Suze Orman was on again giving a list of things you should be doing. The last thing she said was, if you want it, you don't need it.
Shoot.
So then my Tivo kindly recorded the Suze Orman show and I watched it this morning, same message.
Double shoot.
So I came to the realization that the luxury of an expensive bag is not the best choice for me, my family situation, and shoot, the economy.
So, I found a bag half the price, and if I hit my figured on ebay today, I'm going to get that one. It's not as trendy, and I'd most likely use it again and rotate it. Jeff thinks the purple was a trendy impulsive bag, and I'd only use it one season. The majority of my bags are neutral colors that go with everything.
I hate it when he's right.
Sadly, I'll be making a trip back to Nordstrom tomorrow with a hefty box in tow. It's the right decision, just not the one I want to make.
