Ahh, a day off...

So, I haven't had a day off since our trip to Florida for Dad's 50th birthday. This week, I did the 10 hour days for 4 days. Needless to say, the week was a little slow, and I didn't conduct as many interviews as I thought I would, making my first "float week" not too shabby.

As a part of my day off, I opted to use all those "free" coupons that I got for hitting tier 3 in the black card - which included a free Facial or Microderm treatment at Aurora Med Spa. Before that I had a free coupon for an eyebrow wax at the JC Penney Salon at the mall. Needless to say, I won't be going back, after I was told my eyebrows looked like catepillars. Lovely imagery.

So I headed to Aurora in Des Peres and I opted for the Microderm - wow - it was uh-mazing. They exfoliate your face with what felt like an industrial pumice stone. Now, it was dark and there was something on my eyes, so I can't really speak to what it really is - but it felt good. My face has never been so soft. I got suckered into going in a month for another glycolic peel and mask - but I liked doing that too when I went before.

Other than that, my day consisted of going to Jenny Craig, weighing in, and then saying hurray and pigging out on Chick-Fil-a...there is something wrong with that...and then watching an entire weeks worth of Oprah, and America's Test Kitchen on channel 9, and my new favorite show The Rachel Maddow Show. She is hilarious - like a less goofy girl version of the Colbert Report.

Well, there you have it. My weekend won't be as exciting, I'm signing up at Club Fitness for the 2nd time, and I'll go an argue that I should be able to have $15 unlimited locations - oh yes, it will be done.
