Biggest Loser at Work!

So, at work started biggest loser. Buy in is $30 and the winner takes 2/3 of the pot. We've got about 20 people playing. This is serious cash-ola people! I'm on it. It is the most weight lost by May 19th. I can totally whoop up - I said my goal was 29 lbs. I've already lost 4. Well on my way. I think we calculated if you lost 2 lbs every week you could lost 34.

I've been enjoying my lovely 3 day weekend. I had lunch with Mom & Steve today and I was introduced to the newest addition to the Kirby clan - a Lexus 400h. - Jealous? Kinda. Love the car - not the color. We went to Cracker Barrel for a late birthday lunch and then I headed off the mall to order my new lighting for the dining room.

A dress and shirt from Gap shower gel and shower lotion later - I left Pottery Barn with a confirmation order number and anticipation of it showing up. FYI - Bath & Body Works has killer sales. I got a free coupon for a free item with any purchase. I spent a whopping $1.34. Deal! Lots of stuff is 90% off.

I boogied and had my dose of luxury with a killer manicure and eyebrow wax - it's all about the maintenance. I have this awesome color - it's black with red specks...it's a rockin' color - I heart OPI.

We took all of the wallpaper down in the dining room over the weekend with the help from Jeff's Mom and Step Dad. That was a fun chore. Now I'm just waiting for Jeff to put on a layer of skim coat, sand, and then it's primer and paint time. I'm so excited for the end result - it is going to be goregous. Now, if I can only find reasonably priced curtains. Jeff informed me that $400 would be too much - probably so - but these Silk Dupioni ones are GORGE!

I'm so excited to finally have my house not be Dad's house...it's finally getting there. Now if we can only keep it clean...maybe I should hire a live-in maid....that would work, right?
