Girls Weekend!

I just got home from my girls weekend to the Lake of the Ozarks. We decided that we just needed a girls weekend away from husband's, boyfriend's and just life. Our great friend Charlie's parents have a lakehouse on the water and they were nice enough to let us stay.  I can't tell you how much fun we had. I laughed until I cried so many times - it was definitely a great experience.

Upon a reccomendation from my boss at work, she suggested we check out Casa De Loco Winery in Camdenton, MO. If you have a chance to go, I would  highly reccomend it. Don't get worried about driving 2 miles down some scary dirt roads, once you clear that you'll come to an adorable little winery that used to  be an asylum. The wine list was super quirky and had fun names like Schizo Bianco, Labottleme Zinfandel amd Straightjacket Syrah. All of them were very reasonably priced since I picked up a few bottles. 

The cool thing was, it wan't your typical winery where you bring your cheese and crackers and socialize with your group. We met so many awesome people there. I'm so bummed I forgot to charge my battery to my camera because the trees were gorgeous, the rolling water was amazing and all around a fantastic experience.

Other than our winery trip, we went to the Osage Outlet Mall and wandered around. I think I spent more on my husband than myself - but that's to be expected.

So, that's where I was all weekend. Now it's back to coupons and saving a little moo-lah!
