Shoe Dazzle - March - Round 2

So, I wasn't so thrilled with my selections from Shoe Dazzle from March. So I requested a 2nd round. Here they are:

I haven't decided yet. I'm leaning towards the Gillian. The funny thing was, I was on Piperlime the other day, and found the Gillians there for $50 - but in 3 colors. So, at this point, I've passed on this month. Here's to April have a kickin' selction.

Weekly Weigh In!

Well, I can say I haven't eaten Jenny Craig for the past 2ish weeks. I get burnt out and take a break every so often. Now with vacation, I watched what I ate, but I did partake in fried clams and other goodies during the week.

So, today I went in a weighed in and I lost 3.1! Hurray! I was pretty excited about that. This past week, I haven't eaten a lot because I've had the worst acid reflux in my upper stomach and chest it's unbearable. I go to the doctor on Monday morning, but every night around 1am I am up for atleast an hour. It's to the point where I feel like someone had a steel toed boot on my chest and pushing down. It kills. 2 times this week, I've asked Jeff if he would take me to the hospital in the middle of the night.

Last night he sat up with me until 2:30 and did some online research. I think it's something associated to my gallbladder and he thinks it might be an ulcer. Prilosec, Zantac, Rolaids, Tums and Pepto have not helped at all. So, depending on how we do tonight, we may be going to the ER tomorrow. I was trying to hold out for Monday.

So, today I caught up on all my Tivo from being on vacation, RuPaul's Drag Race, Ugly Betty and some other show on the CW - I'm forgetting the name, and took a REALLY long nap. If I'm getting up in the middle of the night, I need to catch up on my sleep.

I'm chilling out now with Riley Sue on the couch and watching Chopped and baking brownies. I need to drink a glass of milk to help with the acid, and I just don't like milk by itself.

Back from Vacation!

We're home from Florida!! Did you miss us?! Well, we had a great visit with my dad. He slept an awful lot, but for someone with ALS for 14 years, I say it's acceptable to sleep a little longer than most.

While on vacation, Jeff and I went to our first Spring Training Baseball game. It was awesome. The stadium is teeny tiny and with my new SLR camera, we got some AMAZING photos. I'll need to post some once we get them all formatted.  We went to the outlet mall, and I didn't get anything (shocker!!)

On Monday, we celebrated out 2 Year Anniversary! We actually didn't kill each other - hurray! Before we left, Jeff gave me a Flip Camera to play with. I think he realized that he was going to be the star of about 99% of my videos and then realized he made a big mistake.

I got him a Neon Cardinals Bar light for the mancave. He loved it. When we got home, he had one more suprise for me - a Tiffany's Key Necklace. I've had a page ripped from the Tiffany's catalogue and hanging on the fridge since October - so I guess he got the point. Overall, A+ trip and A+ Anniversary
