Big Changes Coming!

I can tell you Casa De Cowan should have a fantastic new look hopefully in the next few weeks. I went a little nuts on Cash Cowan and probably spent WAY more than I should have. But I love it.

I stumbled across an adorable graphic designer who is working on making the Casa De Cowan the best blog ever!

My goal is to ultimately track our pregnancy and baby photos once we do have a baby. No, we're not even close to prego yet. But I figured, I found a designer I like, why not go for it. On our Christmas cards, I'll add the blog for parents, grandparents and family to check our what's Jen, Jeff, Riley Sue & Baby Not Yet Appearing in this Film are up to.

So, I found a super cute graphic on iStockPhoto, talked to Lindsey, agreed on the story board colors and walla - Instant Blog!

Stay Tuned...it will knock your socks off!

So Excited!

So, Monday morning I got up to a facebook message from my friend Charlie who invited Jeff and I to the lake this weekend! Hurray! I had the opportunity to go last fall  for a girls weekend and we went to my new favorite Winery - Casa De Loco. Well, now, we get to go! So, I'm packing up the CRV and heading down with some of my BFF's in the entire world!

On the list:

- Coach Outlet (Like I need another Coach....muahaha)
- Casa De Loco
- Day Drinking
- Boating

Yep, that's about all I'm going. I'm so excited to be taking Friday off and taking a 4 day weekend. I'm so ready for a break! The only thing I don't have - a swimmy suit! I ordered a sassy suit last year from Victoria Secret and it may be too boobalicious (yes, that's a word) for the group that we are going with.

My goal is to to relax and chill out and have a good time with good friends. We didn't have a babysitter for Miss Riley Sue, and Jeff's been uber busy with work this week. So, I may be going down with the girls and Jeff may come on Saturday.

How are you celebrating Memorial Day?

Review - COVERGIRL smokey shadowblast

With Cash Cowan, I get the opportunity to try a lot of great product and then give my feedback on them. A few weeks ago, I was contacted by BzzAgent to try out the new COVERGIRL smokey shadow blast. I was so excited because I've been eyeballing this for over a month at Target as it's right on the end cap when you walk by the beauty section. I typically wear mineral makeup, but this somehow intrigued me.
So, when I finally said yes, the hardest part was chosing the color. I finally settled on Silver Sky - which was a silvery/purple combo as well as a bubble gum pink lipgloss to go with it.

2 weeks ago, I was sitting home and Jeff was suprised I hadn't gotten the mail and he said I had a package from BzzAgent. Score! So, I quickly ripped open the package and started applying.

Here's what I love - I love that it's so easy to put on, it rolls on super evenly and it's very effortless. I love that they matched the colors together to make your eyes pop.

What I don't really love - it creases in your eyelids. It doesn't look so cute because the darker color creases. Good thing with it being a cream base - you can just rub your finger over and move the crease. I tried it with an eye primer underneath and that seemed to help the situation.

Overall, I really liked this product. It's quick and easy and it made my eyes pop. BzzAgent provided me with this product. I was offered the product to provide my opinion. All of the opinions are my own.
