A Year in Review - 2010

It is the end. So much has gone on this year, I thought I'd do a little recap of some of my favorite photos from the year. After the awful storm today, Jeff called me and said that I may have lost all of my photos from the past 7 years on our shared server. He's frantically trying to figure out a way to fix it as we speak. Fingers crossed, we're okay! Anyway, without any further delay:

New From Purex!

I'm so excited to share with you the newest product from Purex!

It is Purex Crystal Softeners!

Gone are the days of measuring liquid detergent. With the Purex Crystal Softeners, you just sprinkle in your washer, add your detergent and go! As a Purex Insider, I had the opportunity to try this out this past week, and I couldn't say anything until today! If you know me, it was VERY hard to do! I figured, what would be the best place to start? Sheets! Well, I sprinkled just a little it into the washer (front loaders are okay to use) and an hour later, I popped everything into the dryer. I didn't add a dryer sheet because I wanted to see how it truly worked.

It was amazing. I have had the sheets on the bed since Sunday and they still smell like they came out of the dryer! They are also 92% all natural, which is wonderful for our family because of allergies and pets.

As a special bonus to my readers, I will be able to offer 3  $2 off coupons to try Purex Crystals exclusively from Wal-Mart. Later this year, they will be offered in more retail settings. If you'd like a coupon, leave me a comment and tell me what dirty item at your home you'd like to use Purex Crystals on! I'll pick the top 3 dirtiest items - and let you know by 12/12!

Music Tuesday!

Do you ever have songs stuck in your head? Well, this song has been stuck in my head for weeks. Who knew hard rock music could be Christian Rock? If you listen the lyrics, it's just fantastic!

I LOVE IT!

Enjoy!

St. Louis BLUUUUUUUES Hockey!

I love hockey. Not as much as baseball, but it is in my top 3 sports which also includes Football. Well, our holiday work event we got to go to our first game of the year and it was a GREAT game! It was high scoring, fighting and free Big Macs! I didn't cash in that beefy burger, but it was still fun! I was able to participate in the POWER PLAY dance ( it is quite amazing) and cheer on the BLUUUUUES!

Me and Hubs 12/16

Me and Sara

I'm really excited because on New Years Eve, Alyssa, Cecelia and our respective spouses are going to the St. Louis Blues New Years Eve Bash! We'll get to go to the game, and then at 10:30, they are opening up an all you can eat buffet including a SLINGER bar! If you're not familiar with slingers - well it's a burger, covered in chili, with a fried egg on top with cheese and onions. I probably won't be participating in it, but I'm sure we will have a few guys on board. We'll bring in the New Year with great friend friends and a great time! If you're in the area and don't have any plans, let us know! We are actually in a party box and I'm sure there is room in the next day or so to add people - only $53.50 a person for an evening of fun!

Giveaway - Chex Party Mix!

In our house, the holidays are full of snacks and socializing. A staple at the Casa De Cowan is always Chex Mix. If I make it or buy it pre-made at the store, I have a special bowl for the tastiness.
