Well today was the Beggin' Strips Pet Parade in Soulard. It is one of the annual event that kicks off St. Louis Mardi Gras. Jeff and I have never been before, so we thought if the weather was nice, we'd go for it. My work buddy Sara wanted to go, and then we got a group of us from work, then a bunch of my blog/twitter pals were also meeting up. So I and quite the group of friends there! We got there right after church because we didn't know how packed it was going to be with parking. Once we go there we walked past Molly's in Soulard which is one of the places Jeff and I have been dying to go to! So, we went there, but they didn't have their regular menu. I had my first hurricane of the season and we met up with the masses!
We got to meet up with Randall, Nick & Winnie! They were in the parade!

Beggin' Strips Float!
I kept telling Jeff to get a bag for Riley Sue! We finally got one! Apparently they have new Thick Cut strips. We got home an hooked her up. She was in love. Why not bring Riley to the parade? Good question. My poor gal loves people more than dogs. I would have had to carry her the entire time we were there, and she would have just freaked out. Heck, a trip to the dog park she is sniffing all the people.
We watched the parade with Angie, Angie, Maggie and Alyssa!
Overall, had a great day! Except for the 15 minutes where I got really dizzy. I'm thinking there was something in hurricane #2. It was really bizarre. I feel fine now, just super tired.
