I may start doing my Friday in 5 a weekly thing. I dunno, it speaks to me. Thoughts?
Here's a quick recap of the week. Got home on Tuesday afternoon to a cold and icky St. Louis rainy day. Hubs was so sweet to leave work early to pick me up from the airport. However, there was one catch. We had to stop by Best Buy for the new Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 3. If any lady out there can relate, please let me know. I think we need a support group! Needless today, he's been good this week and only played one day. Whew.
On to my Friday 5!
1) While we were at Best Buy, we were scoping out the new tablets. Since hubs is very anti Apple (don't ask) we are looking at the Samsung Galaxy Tablets and some Asus Tranformers. The new Transformer is coming out in December and it's like a cross between a tablet and a netbook. I think it may be just what I'm looking for! Anyone have a tablet? Good/Bad/Ugly? Let a girl know! I want one that is going to last a while!
So, last year I got a new stainless french door refrigerator for Christmas. This year a tablet. I guess you could say we are scaling down.
2) In Florida I made my regular trek to the Miromar Outlet Mall, and was thrilled that there is now Bare Minerals Outlets. And the nice girl at the counter told me that their product never expires because it is pure minerals. That's a good thing because I've got WAY too much! But I couldn't pass up 3 for $18 bronzers and blushes.
3) Also in Florida, I finally made the trip up to Naples to
C. Orrico. I was so excited because I've ordered from them online multiple times, but going to the store is completely different. I had a Visa gift card burning a hole in my pocket and I knew exactly what I wanted. So I picked up this little ditty:
How cute. It will go with so much. I'm even more excited because I pre-ordered this one from Pink Magnolia a month ago, and it should be here in in 2 weeks!
I really have a nautical problem. I need to quit.
4) I ordered a
new book about PCOS. It's insanely informative and I'm really enjoying the science about what is wrong with me. If you aren't familiar with
PCOS, check it out. I'm trying to stay positive and hope that some of the suggestions in the book will be a positive change in my life. Maybe one of these days we can have a baby...who knows. But, staying positive.
5) Tonight, I am going to the Pageant to see
The Urge with a handful of my favorite people! I'm also checking out
Pi for dinner. I've never been but heard their pizza is amazing. Be prepared for a full report of the show later this week!
So that's it. I'm back to blogging, back to life. Back to reality. Wait...that's a song. I've got a lot of great things to share and specials just for Cash Cowan readers and a super cool giveaway from Cheerios. I'm so jazzed. So stay tuned!!
