Last year our church participated in the Advent Conspiracy, and it really makes you take a step back. I'd much rather build relationships and serve others rather than get a sweater or something you don't NEED, right? Let's take Christmas back to the basics. Woop!

The Real Meaning of Christmas
I guess for the last few years, I've been a Scrooge. I've had no interest in celebrating Christmas at all. They say when you have kids it all changes and the magic of Christmas comes back. But until then, it's important to look at the real meaning of Christmas. Not presents, not spending hours at the mall.
Last year our church participated in the Advent Conspiracy, and it really makes you take a step back. I'd much rather build relationships and serve others rather than get a sweater or something you don't NEED, right? Let's take Christmas back to the basics. Woop!

Holiday Card Swap
So, one of the highlights of the day is getting the mail. I've always loved getting the mail. I like going through it immediately and then recycling what I don't need. I know, I know. You're thinking wow, Jen is a complete dork! It's okay, admitting you have a problem is the right step, right?
Pair my love of mail and the holiday season and we get lots of HOLIDAY CARDS!
If you are a regular blogger, you probably got a set of free cards somewhere along the line. While I'm sending out quite a few, I have a few extras and I'd love to share with my blogger friends.
So, I propose a Holiday Card Swap! If you're interested, leave a comment, and I can email you so we can swap addresses. I promise, I won't come to your house or send you weird mail.
If you don't feel comfortable swapping addresses (don't worry, totally cool) I will do a linky closer to Christmas so if you want to post your holiday card we can all see! I'll do the same!
