Gearing Up for 4th of July

I'm getting bad at this blogging thing. I really need to be more consistent. Last week, I was pretty busy with lots of craziness, and work, and new babies. But, this week, we are gearing up for our 4th annual 4th of July party! This year, hubs decided he wanted to name it Boom Shaka Laka based on the amount of fireworks the "Engineers" purchased.

Unfortunately, with the sweltering temperatures and lack of water, there have been many locations around the St. Louis Metro that have banned fireworks this year. There is just too much of a fire hazard.  I guess, luckily for us,we live in an unincorporated part of the city where fireworks are permitted. We are currently debating on if we should continue with the light spectacular, or wait till we get a little bit of rain. Apparently, the guys have decided they are going to water the lawn before, but we'll see as we get closer to Wednesday.

But in any case, it should be a fun party! Of course, you know I had to find a cute outfit. This one may come late to the party though. I've been debating on what print I wanted for a few weeks now, and I finally bit the bullet.
